Description

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and predictive algorithms.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert on statistical analysis, experimentation design, and code quality.
  • Partner with product managers and engineers to turn ambiguous business questions into data science projects with actionable outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of MLOps best practices so models are scalable, reproducible, and well monitored in production.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses on user behavior and product performance to identify optimization and growth opportunities.
  • Mentor and coach data scientists and analysts to support continuous technical learning and innovation.
  • Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders through data storytelling and visualization.
  • Architect scalable data science frameworks and help establish technical standards within the analytics organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data science, statistics, or a related field with a proven record of delivering high-impact machine learning solutions.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and model development, including pandas, scikit-learn, and numpy.
  • Advanced SQL skills for complex querying and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with supervised learning methods such as regression, random forests, and gradient boosting models like XGBoost or LightGBM.
  • Hands-on experience with unsupervised learning methods such as clustering and dimensionality reduction.
  • Experience with time series forecasting methods such as ARIMA and Prophet.
  • Experience with dbt for data transformation and maintaining reliable data pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy models into production and familiarity with MLOps concepts.
  • Familiarity with software engineering practices including CI/CD, Git, and Jira.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and explain technical concepts to business audiences.
  • Expertise in developing or integrating GenAI models or AI agents into product and analytical workflows.
  • Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms such as AWS SageMaker (preferred).
  • Background in observability (preferred).
  • Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline (preferred).
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker (preferred).
