Description

  • Serve as the AWS subject-matter expert and provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop junior AWS team members, conduct performance reviews, and run regular 1:1s and personal development planning.
  • Manage project staffing, utilization, capacity planning, and actively contribute to talent acquisition and hiring strategies.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams, set and oversee OKRs, and collaborate with business leaders to prioritize initiatives and align work to business objectives.
  • Balance people management responsibilities with individual contributor work as an AWS Solution/Technical Architect.
  • Architect, implement, and optimize AWS solutions with a focus on scalability, cost-efficiency, resilience, security, and compliance.
  • Oversee cloud governance, automation, and DevOps best practices to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Lead complex AWS projects and integrations—especially Cloud Contact Center and AI/ML initiatives—ensuring seamless integration with third-party CCaaS platforms and Salesforce Service Cloud.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing technical teams (experience managing managers is an advantage for Sr. Manager roles).
  • AWS Solution Architect Associate certification.
  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, security, compliance, and automation.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams while driving innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Experience in the Contact Center domain, particularly with Amazon Connect.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML-driven solutions and familiarity with AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, and Amazon Q.
  • Experience integrating Amazon Connect with Salesforce Service Cloud models (SCV BYOA, SCV Bundle) is a plus.
  • Background with Cloud Contact Center solutions (e.g., Genesys, Twilio, Avaya, NICE CX, TalkDesk, Five9, RingCentral) is preferred.
