Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated build processes and scripts for multiple application stacks, including Node.js, Python, Java, Flutter, React, and Angular.
  • Develop, optimize, and secure containerization workflows using Docker.
  • Architect and operate Kubernetes-based deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.
  • Implement and manage GitOps workflows with platforms such as ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates using Terraform and other HashiCorp tooling.
  • Automate deployments, environment provisioning, configuration management, and release processes.
  • Implement and continuously improve observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define CI/CD workflows, build standards, and deployment strategies.
  • Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for deployment and environment issues.
  • Guide and mentor development teams on DevOps practices, deployment patterns, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Improve reliability, scalability, security, performance, and cost management across cloud-native environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software engineering or system operations roles.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
  • Strong expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment models.
  • Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, GitLab, CircleCI, or similar tools.
  • Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code, especially Terraform, and configuration templating.
  • Deep understanding of GitOps principles and experience implementing GitOps workflows.
  • Solid experience automating builds and deployments for Node.js, Python, Java, React, Angular, and Flutter applications.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two major cloud providers: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Familiarity with OpenAI services is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, secrets management, and cloud security posture management.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation tasks.
  • Strong understanding of version control concepts, branching strategies, and release management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for complex, multi-service distributed systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a structured, analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High degree of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in e-commerce, high-traffic systems, or microservices architectures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp tools beyond Terraform, such as Vault or Consul, is a plus.
  • Experience working with hybrid multi-cloud environments is a plus.
  • Exposure to or interest in AI/ML products, including OpenAI-based tools or workflows, is a plus.
  • Background in performance tuning, cost optimization, and scaling containerized applications is a plus.

Benefits

  • Salary range of PLN 16,800–28,200 on a B2B contract in Poland and the EU, plus 20 paid days off.
  • Salary range of PLN 14,000–23,500 on a Contract of Employment in Poland.
