Description

  • Develop backend solutions as a Backend Kotlin Engineer on client projects.
  • Work on event-driven systems and Kafka-based integrations.
  • Support Kubernetes-based application environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams on backend delivery.
  • Participate in CI/CD processes for mobile and backend applications.
  • Contribute to certification and compliance-related processes.
  • Work with experienced developers on challenging long-term products across multiple industries.
  • Follow dev-friendly practices such as code review and bug bashes.

Requirements

  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Must be located in the European Union.
  • Strong experience with Kotlin.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, especially Kafka.
  • Experience with CI/CD for mobile and backend applications.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with DevOps teams.
  • Familiarity with certification and compliance processes.
  • Freelance engagement available for full-time work, starting around mid July 2026, for a minimum of 6 months.
