Description

  • Define and document target architecture scenarios for SAP S/4HANA and satellite systems.
  • Establish architecture principles, integration patterns, and data consumption models.
  • Lead architecture definition proactively and accelerate decision-making.
  • Design architecture across the SAP core, integration layer, data platforms, and infrastructure.
  • Evaluate RISE and non-RISE deployment scenarios and define trade-offs.
  • Collaborate with SAP, Microsoft, and internal stakeholders to validate architecture proposals.
  • Produce architecture diagrams, standards, and decision frameworks.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps across the architecture landscape.
  • Support internal alignment and mentor teams to strengthen architecture capabilities.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of SAP experience with deep expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience in at least two full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, preferably large-scale and multi-country.
  • Strong experience defining end-to-end enterprise architecture across application, integration, data, and infrastructure layers.
  • Deep expertise in integration patterns such as APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with extensibility approaches including Clean Core, side-by-side extensions, and SAP BTP.
  • Solid experience with cloud and hybrid architectures, including SAP on hyperscalers; Microsoft Azure is preferred and Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with both RISE with SAP and non-RISE self-managed SAP deployments.
  • Experience defining architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong collaboration experience with SAP, Microsoft, and system integrators.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
