Description

  • Contribute hands-on to engineering initiatives through coding, design, and architecture.
  • Define technical requirements, solutions, and timelines with product management and other stakeholders.
  • Drive technical roadmap execution and lead architectural decisions.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, testing, and documentation.
  • Establish and maintain engineering best practices and quality standards.
  • Balance technical debt with new feature development.
  • Mentor developers and support their growth.
  • Work with systems handling PHI and sensitive data.
  • Complete HIPAA/PHI privacy and compliance training within 30 days and keep training current.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with modern web development using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with complex embedding patterns such as iframes and cross-origin messaging.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as NextJS.
  • Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, and databases such as PostgreSQL or Snowflake.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and providers; AWS preferred.
  • Experience building LLM-powered applications, including agentic pipelines, tool-calling systems, or AI-augmented workflows, is a strong plus.
  • Experience in Healthcare IT or in a regulated environment is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and successful project delivery.
  • Ability to work in a Cursor and Claude environment using advanced AI tooling.
