Description

  • Deliver patient eligibility notifications and facilitate referral workflows with physicians and site teams.
  • Support site prioritization, activation strategies, and timely follow-up to track outcomes.
  • Operationalize outputs from an AI-enabled trial matching platform.
  • Review eligibility by aligning molecular and clinical data with trial inclusion and exclusion criteria.
  • Track patient progression from identification through referral and enrollment.
  • Provide compliant education about trial opportunities and coordinate handoffs to site research teams.
  • Support business development by providing clinical feasibility insights.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and use tracking tools to monitor performance metrics.
  • Develop SOPs, improve processes, and scale operational excellence across the oncology trial navigation function.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and professional development for oncology trial navigation team members.

Requirements

  • Current, active licensure as a Registered Nurse, Certified Genetic Counselor, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or other advanced clinical licensure.
  • Must maintain licensure in good standing throughout employment.
  • Board certification such as OCN, CCRC, or similar is highly preferred.
  • Master’s degree in a clinical or scientific field is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of oncology clinical experience, including at least 3 years in oncology clinical research.
  • Experience in patient identification and trial matching services at a molecular diagnostics laboratory or independent clinical trial matching company is preferred.
  • Proven experience building and scaling a clinical program.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage direct reports and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge in oncology, including biomarker-driven oncology and MRD-based clinical trial landscapes.
  • Expert-level understanding of clinical trial design and the ability to interpret complex inclusion/exclusion criteria.
  • Familiarity with centralized screening or trial referral models.
  • Experience communicating with patients, physicians, principal investigators, and research coordinators.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and serve as a primary business stakeholder for technology solutions used in oncology trial navigation.
  • Comfort navigating large datasets and translating complex clinical trial protocols into structured data requirements.
