Description

  • Manage all aspects of clinical trial activities in accordance with study protocols.
  • Work closely with investigative site personnel, CROs, and other study vendors.
  • Manage and coach clinical research staff.
  • Oversee study contracting, budgets, and vendor payment processes, including investigational sites.
  • Partner with department leadership to develop procedures and build infrastructure.
  • Design study documents, including protocols, informed consent forms, CRFs, and regulatory binders.
  • Train CROs, vendors, investigators, and study coordinators on the study protocol and related materials.
  • Monitor and track clinical trial progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  • Partner with other research and development groups to achieve project deliverables.
  • Work with PHI in paper and electronic formats while following privacy and security requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, another relevant discipline, or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of clinical research experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing clinical trials in a lead role.
  • 2+ years of experience managing staff.
  • Experience managing CROs is preferred.
  • Experience independently managing all aspects of trials, including study design, protocol implementation, site monitoring, sample management, and recruitment site management.
  • Familiarity with clinical research regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organization, planning, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, self-motivate, and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of HIPAA/PHI privacy, general policies and procedures, and security training within the first 30 days of hire.
  • Must maintain current Natera training requirements.
