Description

  • Verify test requisitions and patient identification, resolving discrepancies with physicians, laboratories, and internal teams.
  • Perform venipunctures and finger sticks while maintaining specimen integrity through aseptic and isolation procedures.
  • Track specimen collections, maintain collection tallies, document quality results, and report KPIs and compliance issues.
  • Manage patient service center scheduling, vendors, equipment, supplies, and ongoing draw-status communication.
  • Support Natera’s phlebotomy program by monitoring blood-draw distribution, responding to customer feedback, and handling minor escalations.
  • Onboard, train, and retrain phlebotomists as needed to support patient-volume growth.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, compliant work environment and protect paper and electronic PHI.
  • Complete required HIPAA/PHI, policy, procedure, security, and other Natera training.
  • Travel as needed to stock supplies and lift up to 50 pounds of equipment or supplies.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
  • At least 5 years of high-level customer-care experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current phlebotomy certification or equivalent preferred, unless required by state regulations; submit the license with the application where applicable.
  • Experience managing or supervising phlebotomy operations and teams preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous financial or budgetary experience preferred.
  • Bilingual language skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and general phlebotomy services and applicable state regulations.
  • Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and online program-management skills.
