Description

  • Verify patient-specific eligibility with payers and support claim submissions and investigations.
  • Review patient status and manage related reporting functions.
  • Address patient needs through customer support, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Schedule and coordinate work across departments to improve efficiency and resolve escalations.
  • Resolve inquiries from patients, sales teams, clinics, and executives with urgency.
  • Close escalation cases using email, phone, SMS, and Salesforce.
  • Review standard operating procedures and support updates to internal and external protocols.
  • Serve as the second-level escalation contact for patient billing call center agents and field teams.
  • Conduct patient outreach to resolve escalated issues and keep stakeholders informed of escalation status.
  • Support operational programs, projects, and initiatives that improve patient resolution and business continuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of call center experience in both inbound and outbound environments.
  • At least 2 years of Salesforce.com experience.
  • Experience with medical billing and coding, preferably in a skilled nursing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid practices.
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone manner.
  • Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire.
  • Must maintain current Natera training requirements.
  • Experience working with PHI in both paper and electronic forms.
  • Preference for candidates who can prioritize work, multitask, and operate under strict guidelines and regulatory requirements.
