Description

  • Design and build end-to-end connectors for third-party enterprise platforms, including authentication, data flow, event handling, and host-application verification experiences.
  • Develop the APIs, backend services, and webhooks required by each integration.
  • Build customer-facing console configuration and setup experiences.
  • Navigate marketplace and app review processes for integrations.
  • Implement integrations across OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, webhooks, and platform-specific alternatives.
  • Operate integrations in production and troubleshoot customer-specific failures, outages, rate limits, and undocumented behavior.
  • Build observability, versioning, and backward-compatibility mechanisms for the integration fleet.
  • Create shared infrastructure, tooling, scaffolding, and templates to accelerate future integrations.
  • Document integrations for support and solutions engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with the integrations product manager to shape feasible, secure, and usable designs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building and operating production software, including backend services and APIs.
  • Production experience integrating and maintaining third-party APIs.
  • Strong backend skills in Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or a similar language.
  • Frontend experience with React or a comparable framework for configuration and setup interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, webhooks, and their failure modes.
  • Experience with relational databases; PostgreSQL preferred.
  • Cloud experience; AWS preferred.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Clear communication, sound judgment, and comfort working remotely across functions.
  • Preferred: Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Slack, Okta, Entra, ICIMS, or UKG extensibility; marketplace reviews; identity or security products; connector platforms; or customer-facing engineering.
