Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1-2 technical support requests through the ticketing system.
  • Support end users across Windows and macOS environments, including hardware, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
  • Triage, resolve, and escalate support tickets while meeting defined SLAs.
  • Document common issues, fixes, and internal how-to guides.
  • Own onboarding and offboarding, including training new hires, provisioning accounts, setting up devices, and removing access for departing employees.
  • Manage identity and access controls, including access reviews, role assignments, deprovisioning, and SSO support.
  • Administer Microsoft Intune and O365 for remote endpoints and enforce device security policies.
  • Support Microsoft Defender, device inventory, procurement, shipping, receiving, and hardware lifecycle tasks.
  • Manage Google Workspace users, groups, settings, and other core SaaS tools.
  • Create scripts and process improvements to automate repetitive IT and access-management work.
  • Support SOC 2 and HIPAA controls, assist with audit evidence, and work with the CISO on access-related requests and remediation.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of IT support experience supporting a remote or distributed workforce in healthcare.
  • Experience handling PHI and working in HIPAA-regulated environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Experience with IAM/access management and end-to-end onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and working within SLAs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical staff.
  • Customer service experience with patience, empathy, and reassurance.
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security fundamentals, including encryption, patching, and MDM policies.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell and Bash.
  • Willingness to ship, receive, and temporarily store company equipment at home as part of device logistics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a remote environment.
  • Must be based in the United States, in the Eastern Time Zone, and within the contiguous US only.
  • Familiarity with least-privilege access principles (preferred).
  • SOC 2 familiarity (preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender and Azure AD (preferred).
  • Google Workspace administration experience (preferred).
  • Microsoft Endpoint Administrator certification (preferred).
  • Google Workspace Administrator certification (preferred).
  • CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred).
  • ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).

  • Compensation of $60K-$70K, based on direct relevant experience.
