Description

  • Design and implement core C++ application components within a ROS2-based system.
  • Develop and maintain reliable, high-performance software using Modern C++ (C++17/20).
  • Integrate sensors, external interfaces, and third-party components into the platform.
  • Build distributed, component-based applications using pub/sub and message-based communication.
  • Contribute to software architecture, technical evaluations, and reusable design solutions.
  • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality, reliability, and stability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
  • Profile, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize software performance and resource utilization in Linux environments.
  • Maintain container images and build configurations for development and target environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong C++ expertise.
  • Proficiency in Modern C++ (C++17/20).
  • Knowledge of memory management, concurrency, multithreading, and performance-critical programming.
  • Experience developing robotic applications with ROS2, including ROS2 nodes.
  • Experience integrating multiple sensors into complex software systems.
  • Understanding of ROS2 architecture, distributed/component-based systems, and pub/sub or message-based communication.
  • Experience with software architecture, design principles, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Strong Linux development skills, including debugging, profiling, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with Git, collaborative development workflows, Docker, and containerized build environments.
  • Ability to independently own complex technical tasks, with strong analytical, problem-solving, English communication, and debugging skills.
  • Experience with Python, Yocto/Embedded Linux, Kubernetes, Helm, or CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI (preferred).
  • Knowledge of machine learning for perception and decision-making, real-time systems, or traffic management, monitoring, or law-enforcement systems (preferred).
