Description

  • Stand up and lead the MyFitnessPal Federal team and establish governance and internal controls for a federal-facing business unit.
  • Own the business unit’s P&L, operating budget, and KPIs, and coordinate with corporate functions to keep the entity aligned and supported.
  • Own delivery of capabilities against contract scope, schedule, quality, and service-level commitments.
  • Translate government requirements into a product and delivery roadmap in partnership with product and engineering teams.
  • Serve as the primary senior point of contact for the prime contractor and government stakeholders.
  • Manage security and compliance requirements, including demonstrating compliance status throughout the period of performance.
  • Govern sensitive data handling, including entity segregation, privacy controls, audit readiness, and incident response.
  • Help expand the program scope and identify adjacent federal work opportunities.
  • Stand up the team and establish the operating cadence of the federal business.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across product, engineering, security, legal, HR, and finance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, including senior leadership of a business unit, program, or P&L.
  • Meaningful experience in or adjacent to the U.S. federal / Department of War (DoD) market.
  • Hands-on command of federal security and compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012/-7021, CMMC, FedRAMP, and RMF/ATO processes.
  • Experience operating as, or working with, a DoD prime or subcontractor and managing requirements and contractual compliance.
  • Proven track record of standing up or scaling a team or function and delivering complex software or technology programs on schedule.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • U.S. person eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, and willing to travel as required.
  • Active DoD 8140-compliant certification.
  • Experience handling CUI and PII in regulated environments.
  • Background in digital health, human performance, wearables, or nutrition/wellness technology is a plus.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or CMMC-related credentials are a plus.
