Description

  • Own high-impact changes across the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through testing and deployment.
  • Build new features and improve the performance of the pensions and financial wellbeing platform, mobile apps, and related services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering colleagues to define problems, shape the product vision, and deliver the roadmap.
  • Design and implement software architecture, database schemas, and technical solutions using modern engineering practices.
  • Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using React, Node, React Native, and related technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback while incorporating feedback on your own work.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies including standups, refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Support team members in overcoming technical challenges and promote engineering best practices.
  • Work within scalable cloud infrastructure and contribute to the development of products that drive revenue.
  • Follow documented standards, tools, and ways of working to deliver high-quality, well-engineered solutions.

Requirements

  • Must be currently based within the United Kingdom.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in a similar role.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, and React Native.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, Next.js, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
  • Familiarity with databases such as Spanner, Postgres, SQL Server, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Understanding of API and UI design.
  • Comfort implementing web, mobile, and agentic AI interfaces, or a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Experience with modern software architecture, frameworks, and design patterns.
  • Strong collaboration skills, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Creative thinking, analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail.
