Description

  • Co-develop batch and streaming pipelines, semantic models, and transformations using Databricks, Python, and Spark.
  • Define and maintain data contracts, quality rules, and data service-level objectives for data products.
  • Guide domain teams on data modeling and data product boundaries.
  • Train, mentor, and pair with domain engineers and analysts on data ownership and engineering practices.
  • Collect domain feedback and incorporate improvements into platform templates, tooling, and engineering patterns.

Requirements

  • Experience in data engineering, including building and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Experience with Databricks, Python, and Spark for batch and streaming workloads.
  • Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
  • Familiarity with a business intelligence visualization tool such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Experience with data modeling, data quality practices, or data product development is beneficial.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms or machine learning systems is beneficial.
