Description

  • Co-develop batch and streaming pipelines, semantic models, and transformations on Databricks using Python and Spark.
  • Define and maintain data contracts, data quality rules, and data SLOs for each data product.
  • Guide domain teams on data modeling and on defining clear data product and domain boundaries.
  • Train, mentor, and pair with domain engineers and analysts on data product ownership and engineering practices.
  • Capture feedback and best practices from domain teams and translate them into platform templates, tooling, and patterns.

Requirements

  • Experience in data engineering, including building and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Python, and Spark for batch and streaming workloads.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Familiarity with a BI visualization tool such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Experience in a lead or mentorship capacity (preferred).
  • Experience working with data contracts, data quality, or data SLOs (preferred).
