Description

  • Collaborate with the team to define goals and deliver custom data solutions.
  • Design and implement ETL processes, optimize queries, and automate data pipelines.
  • Own projects end-to-end while working directly with clients.
  • Mentor and support team members in Data Engineering and model design.
  • Lead data pipeline development and guide technical decisions.
  • Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Foster team autonomy while maintaining smooth collaboration.
  • Contribute to technical research and evaluate future solutions and tools.
  • Review, document, test, and integrate code with CI/CD practices.
  • Participate in candidate interviews and evaluations to support hiring.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and mentoring teams on data projects.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience in Data Engineering, including building and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter.
  • Experience working with a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of Docker.
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and automation.
  • Experience with stream processing tools such as Kafka Streams, Kinesis, or Spark is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills for technical concepts and design documents is preferred.
