Description

  • Lead complex analyses to answer high-impact business and product questions using statistical and analytical methods.
  • Define methodologies, data needs, and frameworks for ambiguous problems and turn them into actionable recommendations.
  • Assess the business impact of product changes, recommendation systems, experiments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Measure ROI, forecasting, and performance for product and machine learning investments.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Machine Learning, and other cross-functional stakeholders to influence priorities and decision-making.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and compellingly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strengthen experimentation and measurement practices across the organization.
  • Mentor other analysts through technical guidance, collaboration, and shared best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a similar field.
  • 7+ years of experience using analytics to solve business or product problems.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills with hands-on experience in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with experimentation, analytical methods, and data-driven problem solving.
  • Ability to break down complex questions and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a similar field (preferred).
  • Experience influencing cross-functional decisions (preferred).
  • Strong business judgment and ability to connect analytical work to company goals (preferred).

  • Fair and competitive base salary of $207,000 - $250,000 USD.
