Description

  • Design, build, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards based on business user requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and optimize data models and queries to improve performance and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and security in Power BI projects.
  • Provide training, support, and documentation for end-users and team members.
  • Maintain and update existing Power BI reports and solutions as business needs change.
  • Work with IT and data teams to integrate Power BI with multiple data sources.
  • Stay current with Power BI features, tools, and industry trends to improve BI capabilities.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of practical experience creating Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced skills in DAX and Power Query (M Language).
  • Extensive experience in data modeling and combining data from various sources.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Experience publishing, managing, and maintaining reports in Power BI Service.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Power BI Consultant or Developer with a strong portfolio of Power BI projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and integrating Power BI with diverse data sources.
  • Awareness of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with other BI tools and analytics platforms is advantageous.
  • Microsoft certification such as PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments is preferred.
