Description

  • Translate client and consulting-team questions into data models, reports, and analyses.
  • Travel onsite to client locations to gather requirements, support engagements, and build stakeholder relationships.
  • Present findings, dashboards, and analyses to clients and explain technical results through actionable recommendations.
  • Design and manage queries and data pipelines in client Snowflake or Databricks environments.
  • Analyze utilization, costs, quality metrics, claims, and provider performance data.
  • Use AI and automation to accelerate analysis, reduce reporting effort, and surface insights.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and technical rigor across client-facing deliverables.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to scale and productize analytics workflows.
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of payer operations, claims, utilization management, payment integrity, and provider contracting.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of hands-on healthcare data analytics experience at a payer, TPA, health plan vendor, or related consulting firm.
  • Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with Power BI and/or Tableau, including production-grade dashboards.
  • Experience analyzing medical or pharmacy claims, provider performance, or payment integrity data.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured data models and clear analyses.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfort using AI-powered tools for query generation, coding, analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Willingness and ability to travel onsite to client locations.
  • Working knowledge of payer concepts such as claims processing, utilization management, HEDIS/STAR, payment integrity, or provider contracting.
  • Experience with Python or another scripting language for automation is preferred.
  • Experience with payment integrity, provider/network analytics, cloud data warehouses, or a relevant master’s degree is preferred.
