Description

  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues on desktops and laptops.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  • Document support requests, technical issues, and resolutions accurately.
  • Set up and configure remote workstations and ensure users have the necessary IT resources.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams for timely resolution.
  • Educate users on IT best practices and provide training on new software and tools.
  • Stay current with technology and support tools to improve service efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems and common software applications.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting methods for peripherals.
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to users.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus.
  • Relevant IT certifications such as A+ or CompTIA are a plus.
  • Experience working in a remote support environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and principles is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL is advantageous.
