Description

  • Own end-to-end quantitative research initiatives from scoping business needs through survey design, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Partner with product, design, engineering, data science, and marketing to build a research roadmap and identify high-impact opportunities.
  • Champion user-centered decision-making by embedding quantitative research into product strategy and influencing leaders across functions.
  • Analyze and synthesize surveys, behavioral data, and market intelligence into evidence-based insights on user experience and audience needs.
  • Communicate clear, actionable findings through narratives and visualizations that influence product and business decisions.
  • Mentor peers and help improve the quantitative research practice, tools, and methods across Firefox.
  • Collaborate with qualitative researchers to support mixed-methods research designs and roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in user, product, or market research, with a strong focus on quantitative research.
  • Extensive experience leading survey research across the product development lifecycle.
  • Deep expertise in empirical survey methods, including planning, sampling, weighting, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with survey applications such as product needs, audience understanding, tracking studies, concept testing, panel surveys, and intercept surveys.
  • Highly proficient in R for statistical programming and survey data analysis.
  • Experience using SQL to integrate behavioral data with survey responses.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives using quantitative data and visualizations.
  • Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, agile environments and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Experience collaborating with qualitative researchers on mixed-methods research; hands-on qualitative research experience is a bonus.
  • Strong judgment in balancing research depth and speed to deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaborative and influential communicator who can build partnerships and drive alignment through evidence-based insights.

  • Salary range of $149,000–$199,000 USD for US Tier 1 locations, $137,000–$183,000 for US Tier 2, and $127,000–$169,000 for US Tier 3.
