Description

  • Own and lead the end-to-end UX research process for a complex product area spanning trading and personal finance.
  • Plan, design, and execute discovery, evaluative, generative, and strategic research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Select and tailor research methods such as interviews, diary studies, usability tests, surveys, and concept testing.
  • Deliver timely, decision-ready insights aligned with product milestones and key decision points.
  • Communicate research findings through presentations, workshops, artifacts, dashboards, and narratives for audiences ranging from individual contributors to executives.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Marketing, Data, and Engineering leads to define research questions, success criteria, and learning roadmaps.
  • Translate findings into actionable recommendations that influence roadmaps, feature definitions, and UX decisions.
  • Identify trade-offs, risks, and opportunities grounded in user behavior and market context.
  • Work across product lanes to uncover shared user needs, overlapping journeys, friction points, and systemic UX issues.
  • Mentor researchers and cross-functional partners while helping scale research best practices, processes, and templates.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on UX research experience.
  • At least 3 years in a senior or staff-level role driving strategy in complex product areas.
  • Deep experience with mixed-methods research, including strong qualitative craft and working knowledge of quantitative techniques.
  • Experience with survey design and basic statistics.
  • Demonstrated success owning end-to-end research for multi-surface or multi-product ecosystems.
  • Experience in fintech, trading, or similarly complex financial domains is preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape product roadmaps in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, including experience presenting to leadership and cross-functional audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering closely with Product Management, Design, and Engineering.
  • Background checks including employment, education, and criminal record checks are required for employment.

Benefits

  • US pay range of $146,000 to $218,000 USD, excluding bonus, equity, or other benefits.
