Description

  • Develop and implement advanced calibration applications for autonomous vehicle systems in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate calibration solutions into vehicles with high quality and reliability.
  • Use internal datasets to validate calibration research and demonstrate results effectively.
  • Own technical development from problem definition through research, implementation, and production deployment.
  • Work on calibration for multiple autonomous vehicle sensors, including LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and radars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field; a Master's or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • 3+ years of specialized experience in calibration, localization, or SLAM for autonomous vehicles, augmented reality headsets, or robotic systems.
  • 3+ years of C++ software development experience focused on high-performance, resilient systems.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing advanced calibration strategies.
  • Experience owning technical development from conceptualization through research, implementation, and production deployment.
  • Experience working with multiple sensors, including LiDARs, radars, IMUs, and cameras.
  • Experience mentoring and collaborating with others.
  • Publications in relevant conferences such as CVPR, ICML, NeurIPS, ICCV, or ICLR are a plus.
  • PhD in machine learning, computer vision, or robotics vision is a plus.
  • Experience working on autonomous vehicles or related fields is a plus.
