Description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software components for Cision’s global SaaS platform.
  • Build high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
  • Contribute to system and application architecture discussions and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver new features.
  • Develop APIs and services with attention to security, performance, and reliability.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and help maintain shared coding standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support deployment and operational monitoring of applications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a software developer/engineer in a SaaS or cloud-native environment.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile software development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in globally distributed teams.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and API development, preferred.
  • Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes, preferred.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and performance optimization, preferred.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus.
  • Experience working in a private equity-backed or fast-growth SaaS company, preferred.
