Description

  • Design, implement, test, maintain, and improve features and services across multiple layers of the stack.
  • Build and operate applications and services with ownership and accountability.
  • Develop product expertise and contribute technical expertise to the team.
  • Clarify requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, stakeholders, and globally distributed teams across functions.
  • Improve engineering maturity by applying new technology and practices.
  • Follow and contribute to engineering processes, DevOps practices, monitoring, alerting, performance optimization, integration testing, and design documentation.
  • Work on robust ingestion data pipelines and services for fundamentals and reported data sources.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience building highly reliable, mission-critical software.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithmic complexity, asynchronicity, and distributed computing.
  • Good knowledge of design and architecture concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development processes and software testing.
  • Experience shipping pragmatic, high-quality solutions with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability and desire to work in an open, team-oriented environment.
  • Excitement to learn from and work with experts in other disciplines.
  • Strong sense of ownership, humor, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Python, TypeScript, and AWS is a plus.
  • Background or interest in financial modeling, financial technology, or capital markets is a plus but not mandatory.
