Description

  • Communicate with internal departments to assess existing medical provider relationships in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and address service offering gaps within the provider network.
  • Develop best-practice strategies for the defined territory.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Futures, Client Advocacy, and other departments on policies, processes, and operational solutions.
  • Maintain ongoing, professional touchpoints with medical providers and act as their primary point of contact.
  • Receive, respond to, and troubleshoot external provider issues.
  • Review, negotiate, and resolve medical liens with providers and insurance companies per attorney direction.
  • Maintain accurate provider-related records and detailed field contact notes in the database system.
  • Travel to multiple facilities to build relationships with staff, doctors, and providers of varying specialties.
  • Track and report on KPIs, communicate market trends, and share opportunities with management.
  • Conduct customer sales meetings and support contract negotiation discussions.
  • Educate new team members on best practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments and healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Communication, or a related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education, training, and experience in a law firm setting.
  • Preference for candidates with personal injury law firm experience.
  • Direct experience in medical lien resolution.
  • Sales or marketing background with a focus on consultative selling, preferably in healthcare.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external professionals.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple demands and shift gears as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, strategic thinking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to different audiences.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Bilingual ability preferred.
