Description

  • Work directly with contract manufacturers and ODM/OEM partners, primarily in China, to develop new products, review samples, track issues, and drive progress.
  • Build and manage development timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking across the product lifecycle.
  • Translate high-level product ideas into clear, structured specifications and briefs that suppliers can build from.
  • Coordinate CE, safety, and EMC workstreams and integrate compliance activities into the development process.
  • Provide proactive updates to founders and teams, escalate risks early, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Build strong working relationships with Chinese manufacturing partners and manage communication across time zones.
  • Manage suppliers, chase timelines, solve production issues, and keep development moving with speed and structure.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in product development, hardware program management, or technical project management for physical products.
  • Experience managing a hardware product development cycle end-to-end, from specification through to production-ready.
  • Direct experience working with Chinese manufacturing partners, including ODM/OEMs or contract manufacturers.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience with consumer electronics, fitness equipment, or electromechanical products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CE and product compliance processes.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work in a highly execution-oriented, fast-changing environment.
