Description

  • Conduct end-to-end KYC and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews across all customer risk tiers.
  • Perform complex EDD investigations on high-risk individuals, including analysis of identity, source of funds, and source of wealth.
  • Assess financial crime, sanctions, and jurisdictional risk and escalate potential SAR cases with clear investigative documentation.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Fraud, and FIU teams to resolve complex escalations and maintain consistent risk decisions.
  • Work in a high-volume environment while meeting quality assurance standards and productivity KPIs.
  • Act as a KYC/EDD subject matter expert and escalation point for customer-facing and operational teams.
  • Develop and maintain operational processes, workflows, and documentation to support scalable identity verification operations.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven improvements to quality, speed, and risk controls.
  • Provide project support and training for internal teams and BPO partners.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in KYC, AML, compliance operations, or a regulated operational environment.
  • Experience with customer onboarding or due diligence processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures while producing accurate, well-documented outputs.
  • Ability to assess customer information, identify risk indicators, and escalate issues clearly and appropriately.
  • Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced operational setting with productivity and quality expectations.
  • Exposure to enhanced due diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, or financial crime investigations.
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or regulatory frameworks.
  • Interest in crypto, blockchain, or Web3 and a desire to build a long-term career in the space (bonus point).
  • Experience supporting process improvements, documentation, or operational projects within a compliance or operations team (bonus point).
