Description

Define the product vision and strategy for Young Monzo as a cohesive family banking proposition.
Own the strategy and delivery for how families join, set up, and use Young Monzo day to day across global markets.
Design a seamless family onboarding experience for parents and children.
Develop intuitive parental controls and safety guardrails that support independence.
Enable everyday payments and money management for kids within risk, safety, and compliance constraints.
Create a smooth graduation journey from kids’ accounts into adult Monzo.
Adapt the product proposition for international markets.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, user research, marketing, legal, finance crime, and compliance.
Help families discover and use features that build children’s financial confidence and independence.
Drive engagement, trust, retention, and revenue opportunities while maintaining a high bar for safety and age-appropriate design.

Requirements

A few years of experience in a related product domain.
Experience managing products that balance multiple user needs and constraints such as safety, trust, and usability.
Experience designing products for different customer groups within regulated environments.
A track record of collaborating with ML experts or data scientists to define metrics, run experiments, and deliver business impact.
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity.
Good judgement in making high-stakes decisions in complex situations.
Resilience and a desire to challenge the status quo with ideas to improve technology and user experience.
Intellectual honesty, humility, and curiosity about improving performance.
Experience shipping successful, customer-centric digital products at scale in a fast-growing company.
Strong storytelling and influencing skills across disciplines.

Salary of £75,000 to £100,000 plus benefits.
Relocation support to the UK.
Visa sponsorship available.
