Description

  • Learn how teams across the business work and identify high-impact opportunities where AI can help.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define problems, map workflows, and estimate potential value and effort.
  • Research and evaluate AI tools and approaches for business use cases.
  • Build and test small prototypes or proofs of concept such as prompt workflows, chat-based assistants, automation scripts, and internal knowledge helpers.
  • Create documentation and playbooks so others can reuse your work.
  • Help run enablement activities such as demos, office hours, training sessions, and feedback collection.
  • Track results and learnings, including what worked, what did not, and recommendations for next steps.
  • Follow responsible AI practices, including data privacy, security, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree as a rising junior or senior graduating in 2027 or 2028, pursuing a Master’s degree, or an upcoming graduate (May 2026) in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Interest in AI and curiosity about how it can be applied to improve real workflows.
  • Comfortable learning new tools quickly and experimenting in a structured way.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.
  • Organized and self-directed, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to break down problems and propose practical solutions.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, JavaScript, or automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or Apps Script is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and prompt design, including evaluating output quality, is preferred.
  • Experience building lightweight prototypes such as spreadsheets, dashboards, scripts, or basic apps is preferred.
  • Interest in product thinking, process improvement, and change management is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Must be able to work remotely from an approved state and travel to Melville, NY for the July 14-15 on-site internship meeting.
