Description

  • Partner with the Chief Delivery Officer to develop and scale a repeatable procurement framework for hyperscale data center programs.
  • Translate growth objectives into procurement strategies that balance cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • Establish long-term procurement roadmaps aligned with portfolio timelines and standardized reference designs.
  • Identify, evaluate, qualify, and recommend strategic equipment vendors and equipment packages.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, manufacturing schedules, service-level expectations, and long-term supply agreements with vendors.
  • Lead and manage the procurement organization, including third-party partners, full-time employees, and consultants.
  • Build and foster a culture of accountability, performance, safety, and continuous improvement within the procurement function.
  • Define and oversee monthly procurement reporting with KPIs and OKRs covering vendor performance, delivery, cost, lead time, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee project equipment CAPEX budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting with Program Controls and Delivery teams.
  • Partner with Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations to validate specifications, ensure readiness, and resolve delivery issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in major capital equipment procurement management, equipment manufacturing, or mission-critical infrastructure delivery.
  • Proven success developing and overseeing equipment procurement programs for hyperscale or multi-building data center campuses with 50–100 MW+ IT capacity.
  • Experience developing scalable, programmatic procurement models across multiple markets.
  • Strong understanding of MEP design and construction, modular construction, MCE procurement, QA/QC programs, and commissioning methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, and cost management systems.
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
