Description

  • Lead the design and architecture of POS terminal solutions, integrating hardware, payment systems, and security requirements.
  • Develop and maintain architectural documentation and system diagrams across supported platforms.
  • Make architectural decisions involving payment technologies, EMV standards, and hardware compatibility.
  • Lead development of POS-related mobile and embedded applications.
  • Optimize payment processing performance and security, including EMV protocols.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices for mobile and embedded systems.
  • Monitor system stability, troubleshoot issues, and improve POS product reliability.
  • Mentor engineers, drive process improvements, and contribute to hiring technical talent.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in system design, architecture, and development, specifically in the POS terminal domain.
  • Strong Android Native development expertise using Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience with cross-platform mobile development such as Flutter; familiarity with C or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of EMV security protocols, chip transactions, encryption, and key management.
  • Experience integrating POS hardware, including card readers, PIN pads, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Deep understanding of payment systems architecture and integrations with processors and gateways.
  • Knowledge of software quality assurance principles for financial systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience mentoring engineers and improving team processes.
