Description

  • Support internal control assessments to validate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls across Moniepoint MFB's e-business products.
  • Develop and help execute test scripts and control programs to verify the completeness and accuracy of daily qualifying transactions.
  • Monitor settlement positions in inbound/receivable and outbound/payable GLs and ensure exceptions are regularized within T+3.
  • Track net exposure across accounts receivable and accounts payable product classes and escalate positions above acceptable thresholds.
  • Review settlement accounts and GL data for outliers, wrong configurations, unusual patterns, and incorrect product outputs.
  • Test transaction data, system configurations, and applications to confirm that only qualified transactions are accepted for processing.
  • Support testing of product and transaction-processing dependencies, applications, and databases against design requirements.
  • Execute risk-based control assessments to evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of controls in the e-business environment.
  • Document and communicate assessment findings, results, and recommendations to stakeholders and line managers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive control framework for e-business platforms, digital channels, and online payment systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of proven experience in e-business control assessment, IT auditing, or a related field.
  • Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CISA, ICAN, or another relevant IT or risk management certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of the COSO internal control framework.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, including ISO 31000 (Risk Management).
  • Strong understanding of transaction data flow pipelines, settlement processing, and accounts receivable/payable management.
  • Strong planning and execution skills for internal control assessments and effectiveness testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
