Description

  • Track and analyze portfolio performance metrics such as PAR, NPL, roll rates, and recoveries.
  • Monitor delinquency trends across PAR 0, 30, 60, 90, and 360 buckets.
  • Identify early warning signals and emerging risk patterns.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from internal and external systems.
  • Develop risk dashboards, automated reports, and regular portfolio insights.
  • Support underwriting with cash flow analysis, behavioral analysis, and customer risk profiling.
  • Provide data-backed recommendations on loan approvals, credit limits, and pricing.
  • Support development of credit scoring models and key risk parameters such as PD, LGD, and EAD.
  • Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis.
  • Segment the portfolio by industry, geography, and customer type to inform strategy and collections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 4–5+ years of experience in credit risk, data analytics, or fintech risk roles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Strong SQL and data querying skills.
  • Experience with Python, including Pandas and NumPy.
  • Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for visualization and reporting.
  • Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, and core banking or loan systems such as Temenos or Finacle.
  • Knowledge of credit risk lifecycle, lending processes, and risk metrics such as PAR, NPL, PD, LGD, and EAD.
  • Understanding of IFRS 9 and expected credit loss concepts.
  • Financial services or fintech experience is an advantage.
