Description

  • Manage employee relations matters from intake through investigation, recommendations, resolution, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Advise managers, Managing Attorneys, and employees on performance, conduct, attendance, conflict, retention, and workplace concerns.
  • Own leave and accommodation cases involving ADA, FMLA, state and local leave laws, and religious accommodations.
  • Coordinate the interactive process, required documentation, communications, case milestones, and confidentiality of medical information.
  • Monitor employment and leave law changes across jurisdictions and support updates to policies, procedures, handbooks, and manager guidance.
  • Lead People & Culture initiatives from planning through implementation, including milestones, stakeholder coordination, risk tracking, and adoption.
  • Develop procedures, templates, and process guides that improve consistency, compliance, and scalability.
  • Analyze case and leave data to identify trends and recommend actions to People & Culture leadership.
  • Deliver manager education and resources on employee relations, performance discussions, leave, accommodations, and People & Culture processes.
  • Maintain accurate confidential records, track deadlines, escalate significant risks, and coordinate cross-functional follow-up.

Requirements

  • At least six years of progressively responsible experience in employee relations, human resources, leave administration, accommodations, employment compliance, or a related field; the posting states “six (5)” years.
  • Experience independently managing complex employee relations matters and projects.
  • Experience conducting employee relations reviews or investigations and advising managers on performance, conduct, and workplace concerns.
  • Hands-on experience administering ADA, FMLA, and applicable state and local leave and accommodation processes.
  • Working knowledge of multi-state employment requirements, including California, Colorado, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Georgia.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience considered.
  • Experience in a law firm, professional services environment, or rapidly growing multi-state organization preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Strong judgment, communication, organization, discretion, analytical ability, and ability to work independently.
  • Reliable remote-work setup with high-speed internet and a functional workstation.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $85,000–$95,000 for Georgia and Texas, adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors.
