Description

  • Own high-impact data projects end-to-end from idea and scoping through implementation, launch, and iteration.
  • Design and build customer-facing data products that turn messy public social data into consistent, trusted insights.
  • Develop systems to derive creator attributes such as location, age, and interests at scale.
  • Build pipelines and products that extract creator-brand collaborations from raw social data.
  • Contribute to the future of AI-assisted search by exploring how LLMs and embeddings can improve search and recommendations.
  • Plan, build, and launch production data systems with minimal meetings and high autonomy.
  • Collaborate with the broader Data organization across Data Insights, Data Search, and Data Core.
  • Participate in pair programming, fast feedback loops, and shared team ownership.
  • Work on data reliability, freshness, and quality at scale.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Spark, with PySpark preferred; Scala or Databricks experience also relevant.
  • Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and handling large-scale data processing.
  • Comfort working with unstructured data.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
  • Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, including Glue and EMR.
  • Hands-on experience shipping full features from idea to production, including planning, architecture, implementation, release, and iteration.
  • Based in Europe with significant working-hours overlap with EET (Tallinn time).
  • Hands-on experience building agentic or LLM-powered features in production.
  • Practical understanding of LLM trade-offs, including cost, latency, and capability.
  • Bonus: experience with AI/ML tools or LLMs, GCP and Vertex AI, Apache Iceberg, Pulumi or Terraform, Node.js and TypeScript, and AWS cost mechanics.
  • Preferred: curiosity about the creator economy.
  • Not a fit: primary background in analytics or BI rather than production data products.
  • Not a fit: experience focused on stakeholder reporting instead of building customer-facing data systems.
