Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and APIs.
Architect scalable backend solutions that can handle growing user loads and changing business needs.
Maintain high coding standards through thorough code reviews and best practices for readability and maintainability.
Identify bottlenecks and optimize code and algorithms to improve system performance.
Implement monitoring and debugging tools to proactively detect and resolve issues.
Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure backend reliability.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver software solutions.
Mentor junior developers and support their technical growth.
Document code, APIs, and technical processes to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Requirements

Must be located in the EMEA or APAC region and authorized to work in the relevant region.
Strong professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
Proven production experience with the Stellar network.
Previous blockchain experience with technical understanding of the EVM ecosystem or other blockchain environments.
Familiarity with Stellar Soroban smart contracts is a significant plus.
Extensive experience in a similar senior or lead backend role.
Solid understanding of MongoDB, Redis, and system architecture design.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a proactive manner.
Very strong written and verbal English skills for stakeholder communication.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science is a plus.

Competitive salary of €90,000–€130,000 EUR.
