Description

  • Provide second-line technical support to customers, partners, and consultants through the support portal, email, chat, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot software issues by reproducing problems and determining resolutions.
  • Triage newly reported incidents, assign severity, and drive them toward resolution.
  • Update the ticket tracking system with accurate, current status information.
  • Create knowledge base articles to expand customer self-service and internal support resources.
  • Collaborate with worldwide Support Engineers and Developers to rapidly resolve issues and customer requests.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with enterprise software applications in support, development/QA, services, or a similar technical role.
  • Experience writing SQL queries is required.
  • Experience working with Java/J2EE applications is required.
  • Experience with Windows and/or Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, and/or WebSphere is preferred.
  • Experience with performance tuning of applications or databases is preferred.
  • Experience with relational databases including Oracle and/or SQL Server is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Business Objects or another Business Intelligence technology is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience.
  • Excellent organizational, customer relationship, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and listening skills.
  • Highly dependable, professional, motivated, and self-starting with a positive attitude.
