Description

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned client support needs.
  • Provide in-depth technical expertise on complex projects and develop original solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues using root cause analysis and deliver workarounds and fixes.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for software upgrades, including short-term upgrade project oversight.
  • Act as an escalation point for issues beyond Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III support.
  • Lead advanced technical work to create new troubleshooting processes and technical workarounds.
  • Participate in planning and coordination of new product deployments and enhancement projects.
  • Monitor production system applications and support resolution of high-impact issues for hosted clients.
  • Recreate product defects and collaborate with engineering to scope resolutions for customers.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across application servers, middleware, networking, databases, and other hardware.
  • Maintain and document client configurations and customizations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise software applications in support, development/QA, services, or a similar technical role.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MSSQL.
  • Experience troubleshooting application issues across application server and database layers, OS, security, and authentication layers.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, customer relationship, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and listening skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently or in a group and prioritize your own work.
  • Ability to translate technical issues and resolutions for non-technical clients and staff.
  • Experience with .NET or Java/J2EE applications.
  • Experience with application servers such as IIS, Tomcat, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
  • Experience with AppDynamics or similar application monitoring tools.
  • Experience with relational databases including Oracle and/or SQL Server.
  • Experience with performance tuning of applications or databases.
  • Experience with Windows and/or Unix operating systems.
  • SAP Business Objects is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience.
