Description

Design original optics problems that simulate real physics research workflows.
Create computationally intensive problems that cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
Develop problems requiring multi-step reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications in optics and physics.
Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
Contribute to project-based tasks during active phases, typically around 10–20 hours per week.
Participate in the workflow of applying, passing qualifications, joining projects, completing tasks, and getting paid.

Requirements

Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or a related field.
2+ years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience.
Experience with numerical simulation methods.
Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows.
Creative thinking in problem design across diverse physics areas.
Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.
Strong written English at C1+ level.
Open to part-time, non-permanent, project-based work.
