Description

  • Design original optics problems that simulate real physics research workflows.
  • Develop computationally intensive problems that cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
  • Create problems requiring multi-step reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
  • Base problem sets on real research challenges or practical applications from optics and physics practice.
  • Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
  • Contribute to project-based AI evaluation and improvement tasks as assigned.
  • Complete tasks during active project phases, typically around 10–20 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience.
  • Experience with numerical simulation methods.
  • Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows.
  • Creative thinking in problem design across diverse physics areas.
  • Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.
  • Strong written English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
  • Willingness to participate in part-time, non-permanent project-based work.
  • Ability to pass qualification steps before joining a project.
  • CV must be submitted in English.
