Description

  • Design original computational data science problems based on realistic business scenarios across industries such as telecom, finance, government, e-commerce, and healthcare.
  • Create Python-based problems that require use of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Develop computationally intensive tasks that cannot be solved manually within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Build problems that require multi-step reasoning across data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and insight extraction.
  • Create deterministic problems with reproducible answers, using fixed random seeds or other reproducibility controls where needed.
  • Design end-to-end data science workflows spanning data ingestion, cleaning, exploratory analysis, modeling, validation, and deployment considerations.
  • Incorporate scalable big data processing scenarios and computational approaches where appropriate.
  • Verify solutions using Python, standard data science libraries, and statistical methods.
  • Write clear problem statements with realistic business context and provide verified correct answers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with proven business impact.
  • A portfolio of completed projects and publications demonstrating real-world problem-solving.
  • Expert Python programming for data science, including pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
  • Expert-level statistical analysis and machine learning knowledge, including practical understanding of algorithms and methods.
  • Expert SQL and database operations experience for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with GenAI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
  • Understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of modern frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
  • Strong written English at C1 level or above.
  • Ability to work on part-time, project-based, non-permanent assignments.
