Description

  • Design original computational data science problems that simulate real-world analytical workflows across industries such as telecom, finance, government, e-commerce, and healthcare.
  • Create Python-based problems that can be solved using standard data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Develop end-to-end tasks spanning the data science pipeline from data ingestion and cleaning through EDA, modeling, validation, and deployment considerations.
  • Build deterministic problems with reproducible answers, using fixed random seeds or avoiding stochastic elements when needed.
  • Design problems that require non-trivial reasoning in data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and insight extraction.
  • Base problem statements on realistic business challenges such as customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Create computationally intensive scenarios that cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
  • Verify solutions using Python, standard data science libraries, and statistical methods.
  • Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
  • Incorporate big data processing scenarios that require scalable computational approaches.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with proven business impact.
  • A portfolio of completed projects and publications demonstrating real-world problem-solving.
  • Expert-level Python programming for data science, including pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
  • Expert statistical analysis and machine learning knowledge, including deep understanding of algorithms, methods, and practical applications.
  • Expert SQL and database operations experience for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with GenAI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
  • Understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of modern frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
  • Strong written English at C1+ level.
  • Ability to work part-time on non-permanent, project-based assignments.
