Description

  • Design original computational engineering problems that simulate real engineering workflows.
  • Create Python-based problems for engineering calculations and simulations.
  • Develop computationally intensive tasks that require numerical methods or iterative solutions.
  • Create problems involving system design, optimization, and analysis.
  • Base tasks on real research challenges or practical engineering applications.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries.
  • Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Python proficiency for numerical validation.
  • Experience with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, domain-specific libraries, Stata, or another programming language may be considered equivalent.
  • 2+ years of professional experience; applied, research, or teaching experience is acceptable.
  • Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
  • Strong written English at C1 level or higher.
  • Ability to work on part-time, non-permanent projects.
  • Willingness to complete qualification steps before joining a project.
