Description

  • Design and implement robust, scalable backend services using Kotlin or Java.
  • Take ownership of technical aspects of development and the components you build.
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests and apply test-driven development (TDD) practices.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD processes and use Git for source control.
  • Work with cloud and infrastructure tooling (Terraform, Azure) to provision and manage environments.
  • Deploy and operate services in container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
  • Integrate and work with messaging and API technologies (Kafka, GraphQL Federation).
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment, mentor junior developers, and drive knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java backend development.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, and willingness to work with Kotlin.
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with Terraform (infrastructure as code).
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD (Shift-Left).
  • Proficiency with Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with Kafka and GraphQL Federation.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and teamwork; experience with Spring Boot and Agile environments is a plus.
