Description

  • Develop and maintain backend features in a collaborative Agile environment.
  • Write testable code and maintain the agreed level of test coverage.
  • Document code and support code quality throughout development.
  • Own code through development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Diagnose production issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Contribute to solution design and implementation.
  • Work both autonomously and collaboratively to complete tasks.
  • Build highly concurrent, transactional, and resilient services.
  • Support operational aspects of highly performant applications.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer, preferably with Golang.
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures.
  • Experience with test automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Experience building and running highly performant applications.
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as GCP or AWS.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps.
  • Ability to work self-driven and self-organized with little supervision.
  • Experience working with network and communication protocols such as HTTP, gRPC, and Pub/Sub.
  • Ability to build maintainable and robust APIs in Go.
