Description

  • Own platform adapters for client stacks such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and AWS.
  • Design and maintain the evaluation and verification layer that encodes platform-specific idioms and correctness rules.
  • Build generation targets for ingestion, pipelines, transformation logic, warehouse and catalog scaffolding, orchestration, IaC, CI/CD, and governance use cases.
  • Ensure generated outputs are correct, idiomatic, and suitable for adoption on client stacks.
  • Create reviewable diffs and production-ready outputs that fit partner workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams and design partners to drive real-world adoption.
  • Work on code generation, templating, validating, and parsing generated code.
  • Co-own AI system implementation, including prompt design, structured outputs, function calling, and evaluation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a data engineer with end-to-end delivery in fast-paced environments.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work between developers and leadership.
  • Solid understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
  • Comfort working with CI/CD workflows and version control using Git.
  • Strong production software engineering skills in Python, testing, CI/CD, REST, and Docker.
  • Deep experience in at least one modern cloud data platform: Databricks/Spark, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
  • Ability to reason across multiple cloud data platforms and ramp up quickly on a partner's stack.
  • Experience with AI engineering for agentic systems, including prompt design, structured outputs, function calling, and evaluation using Anthropic and OpenAI APIs.
  • Code-as-data fluency, including code generation, templating, validation, parsing generated code, and producing reviewable output.
  • Preferred: experience working closely with delivery teams and design partners in client-facing environments.
