Description

  • Own and deliver complex server-side initiatives across SFRA controllers, scheduled jobs, pipelines, and backend services.
  • Design, implement, and maintain resilient integrations for loyalty, marketing, catalog, and fulfillment systems using SFTP/file processing, messaging patterns, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Shape, document, and drive engineering frameworks, policies, and patterns to improve consistency and maintainability across the platform.
  • Implement and maintain DevOps automation for builds, deployments, and runtime monitoring (CI/CD, deployment scripts, cache management).
  • Measure, monitor, and enhance platform health and performance using DORA-aligned metrics and observability programs.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, hiring support, and engagement in internal Communities of Practice.
  • Participate in production support rotations and incident response, balancing delivery speed with platform stability and quality.
  • Collaborate with product teams on OKRs, roadmap planning, and experimentation to align engineering efforts with product goals.
  • Continuously evaluate and challenge existing processes to modernize engineering practices and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and SFRA architecture, including custom cartridge development.
  • Strong background in API design and system integration (REST/SOAP APIs, loyalty/marketing exports, catalog and fulfillment integrations).
  • Familiarity with integration patterns such as SFTP/file processing and Kafka-style messaging systems.
  • Experience with DevOps automation and CI/CD tools, including sfcc-ci, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure deployment/hosting concepts.
  • Practical experience with automation and testing tooling such as Node.js scripting, unit/integration testing, linting, and code coverage tools.
  • Knowledge of cache management and runtime monitoring/observability tied to DORA metrics and continuous improvement programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership via code reviews, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Passion for clean, maintainable code and collaborative problem-solving.
  • SFCC Certification is a plus (preferred, not mandatory).
